If your studio is all about zero-compromise performance and exactingly accurate sound reproduction, then we have your ultimate monitor. Genelec's active 8260A packs more than enough power into a tri-amped configuration that will blow you away. Its impressive 10" bass driver is complemented with a 5" midrange driver and a 3/4" Al-dome tweeter. The tweeter and midrange driver are concentrically mounted, which saves space. But, Genelec also ingeniously made the midrange cone form part of the waveguide. Add the onboard DSP signal processing and compatibility (via Genelec's proprietary GLM network) with other 8200-series speakers, and you have a formidable studio tool in the 8260A.
