Its light weight Natural Composite Enclosure is manufactured from a rigid wood composite material that delivers exceptional sound quality. Not happy with the current selection of amplifiers on the market, Genelec created a new Class D amplifier with intelligent power management that reduces power consumption up to 90%. To increase the Genelec M030 woofer's low frequency extension and SPL capacity, Genelec designed an ingenious flow optimized reflex port. The built-in port maximizes airflow so the M030 can reproduce deep bass without compression. The Laminar Integrated Port (LIP) minimizes port noise and provides excellent bass articulation.

The system's excellent directivity characteristics and accurate imaging together with its compact size and flexible mounting options make the Genelec M030 the perfect loudspeaker for a wide range of critical listening applications.

Each Genelec M030 monitor features a 5" bass driver along with a 0.75" tweeter loaded into a new advanced Genelec Directivity Controlled Waveguide (DCW) for optimum dispersion of highs. With a requency response of 48Hz to 20kHz, the M030 is perfect for accurate studio monitoring. Bass and treble are each powered by 50-watt and 30-watt amplifiers, respectively.
