DB Technologies DVX PSW 218 Passive Subwoofer

DVX PSW218 is a high-performance passive subwoofer in a plywood enclosure designed for low-frequency enhancement in medium-large environments. It’s the result of the experience gained by dBTechnologies especially with DVA and DVX series, and is the actual answer to the needs of passive systems users in any type of application. 

Thanks to its two 18” high-quality woofers, the DVX PSW218 combines the impulse low-frequency response and punchy temperament already present in the DVX PSW18, with the high sound pressure determined by doubled transducers and greater volume of its enclosure. The construction still lightweight and sturdy of this subwoofer; makes it the ideal choice for all those situations in which you need to reinforce the low frequencies without losing the advantages of portability.

The DVX PSW218 offers two 18” woofers with a 4” voice coil that can take a load up to 4000 watts and provide an extraordinary SPL of 140dB at very low-end frequencies down to 28Hz.

It features four handles (two on each side) for easy transport, the predisposition for wheels on the bottom, a couple of standard M20 pole mount plates and recesses on top and on one side of the box to facilitate the stacking of another subwoofer or DVX full-range loudspeakers, or any other kind of speaker provided with a standard D36mm hole thanks to the DS2-S optional pole mount adapter.

 It can be easily combined with DVX passive full-range speakers by using an external crossover like dBTechnologies AC26N. In both standalone or stacked configurations, it is an excellent choice for FOH applications. What's more, its powerful punch makes this subwoofer the right choice for drum fills.
