So Many Sounds

Velocity-sensitive keys with Aftertouch allow you to get real expressive and musical during a performance, and with over 900 sounds and over 60 drum sounds to choose from, you'll never complain about playing the same old thing. The Pa800's factory sound set comes with a multilayer stereo acoustic piano sampled from a real concert grand, as well as 64 drum kits. Storage for up to 256 user sounds and 64 drum kits, plus a complete collection of sound-editing tools round out the Arranger's expansive sound section. If nearly a thousand available sounds don't float your boat, you can load your own WAV, AIFF, Korg format files, and sample libraries into the Pa800's standard 64 MB of added memory.

950 Korg Styles On Board

"Pa" stands for Professional Arranger, and it wouldn't be a pro arranger synth without awesome auto-accompaniment Styles on board. Detailed, realistic-sounding Styles programmed by some of the world's top arrangers are preloaded in the Korg Pa800, covering a range of musical genres. With 3 Intros/Count Ins, 3 Fills, 4 Variations, and 3 Endings for every Style, your playing will have plenty of support from the Pa800's built-in backing band. And if you would prefer to use and make your own, you can record and edit 416 of your own Styles on the keyboard. 

Professional editing tools such as loop, cut, normalize, and sample cropping give you complete control over your tone, while a special feature called Time Slice lets you create custom rhythms.

Did Someone Say Multi-FX?

High-quality effects make the Pa800 a versatile instrument ideal for both studio and stage. This 61-key Arranger sports four Stereo Master Effects processors with hundreds of effects, from reverb, delay, and chorus through to specialized effects like a vocoder and REMS guitar-based effects for realistic guitar tones. On the Pa800, vocal effects (EQ, compressor, noise reduction, echo, reverb) are completely separate and independently controlled.

Some Real eXperience Required

Korg's RX (Real eXperience) technology drives the Pa800's realistic sound, while the TC Electronic/TC Helicon voice processor lends the keyboard its EQ and pro-quality vocal effects. Reverb, echo, and other effects, along with the three-voice harmonizer and mic pre, are all at your fingertips on the top panel and in the display's main page, ready to give your vocals and backup tracks the finishing touch. Just connect a microphone and start playing.

Two separate MIDI file players give the Pa800 stellar sequencing functions. Of course, the versatile keyboard supports SMF (Standard MIDI File), Karaoke files, and GM (General MIDI).

As for connectivity, the Pa800 offers 4 separate audio outputs, 2 mic/line inputs with separate gain, 2 USB Host connections, and 1 USB (Device) connection.
